Internet Connection Requirements
Our platform adapts to your connection speed, but certain speeds make the experience noticeably better. Video lessons stream at different quality levels depending on what your connection can handle.
Most people find that a solid 10 Mbps connection works well for HD video without buffering. If you're on a slower connection, the platform will automatically adjust quality so you can still follow along without interruptions.
Downloads are optional for all materials, so you can save lessons for offline review if your connection is unreliable or if you're traveling.
Platform Compatibility Details
The platform works on most modern mobile devices, though we recommend using a larger screen for technical courses that involve code or detailed visuals.
- iOS 14+ on iPhone or iPad
- Android 10+ with Chrome or Firefox
- Tablet devices preferred for split-screen note-taking
- Mobile data usage: approximately 400MB per hour at standard quality
Touch gestures work for navigation, but some interactive exercises are easier with a mouse or trackpad.
We've built accessibility into the platform from the ground up, with support for most assistive technologies.
- Full keyboard navigation throughout the interface
- Screen reader compatibility (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver)
- Closed captions available in English for all video content
- High contrast mode and adjustable text sizing
- Transcript downloads for every video lesson
If you need specific accommodations not listed here, reach out and we'll work with you to find a solution.
If you're accessing the platform from a workplace or institution with network restrictions, you might need to request access to certain domains.
Our platform uses standard HTTPS connections on port 443, which most networks allow by default. Video streaming uses adaptive bitrate delivery, which should work even with moderate bandwidth restrictions.
Some corporate firewalls block video streaming services entirely. If you experience issues, ask your IT department to whitelist our Nexarivolo or use a personal device on a separate network.
Not Sure If Your Setup Will Work?
We're happy to help you figure out if your equipment meets the requirements or suggest workarounds if it doesn't. Most common setups work without any issues.
